Rates 2026: senior dev DE €100–140/h, UK £90–130/h, PL €50–80/h, CZ €55–85/h. Quality comparable or better — top devs didn't all leave for the West.

Pros of PL/CZ: same EU legal regime (GDPR, AI Act, DPAs are trivial), CET time zone, excellent English, work culture close to German / Nordic.

Cons: smaller talent pool than India, but much higher quality per dev. Less churn.

Best model: local PM/lead (speaks both client and team languages) + delivery team in PL/CZ + weekly demo.
